ATmega16U2 is an 8-bit microcontroller chip based on the AVR RISC architecture, which is designed specifically for USB communication and embedded control.
ATmega16U2 mainly includes USB 2.0 full speed device controller (supporting DFU and CDC class protocols), 16KB Flash program memory, 512 bytes SRAM data memory and other features. ATmega16U2 supports online programming (ISP) and firmware upgrade.
