3:AD790JN Circuit applications for examples
The diagram below shows an overvoltage detection window comparator designed using the AD790JN. The circuit employs two AD790JN chips, with a simple peripheral circuit that features a wide differential input range, suitable for monitoring large signals. As shown in the diagram, the input signal for the overvoltage detection circuit is directly connected to the high-impedance input of the comparator, eliminating the need for special clamp diodes to limit the differential input voltage at the input terminals.
